MEDICINE HAT – A pivotal game on Friday night at the Canalta Centre, as the Medicine Hat Tigers look to jump ahead in their series against the Lethbridge Hurricanes.

On Wednesday night, the Tigers were able to even up their best-of-seven series at 2-2 with an overtime winner from Swedish product John Dahlstrom.

In that game, Medicine Hat was able to pepper Hurricanes netminder Stuart Skinner with 59 shots en route to their 3-2 victory.

Medicine Hat held an early 1-0 lead in the series, but back-to-back victories by Lethbridge in Games 2 and 3 forced a gutsy effort on Wednesday to square up the series.

Puck drop for Game 5 of the series is set for 7:30 pm at the Canalta Centre.

Other games in the WHL on Friday night sees the Seattle Thunderbirds trying to sweep the Everett Silvertips, the Kelowna Rockets looking to advance past the Portland Winterhawks, and the Swift Current Broncos going for the big upset over the powerhouse Regina Pats.
