South Ridge YMCA expansion grand opening today

MEDICINE HAT, AB –  The ribbon will be cut today as part of the grand opening of the South Ridge YMCA expansion.
 
The $1.2 million project adds an additional three thousand square feet of space and the introduction of new state-of-the-art equipment.
 
Officials say the expansion wouldn’t have happened without the generous legacy donation in honor of Deb Kusler, whom the new cardio centre is named after.
 
The ribbon cutting ceremony is at 1 p.m. with tours to follow at 1:15 p.m.
 
The South Ridge YMCA is located at 644 Spruce Way S.E.
