Medicine Hat, AB — The Hat High senior girls basketball team moved above .500 on the year in regular season play as Jordyn Kearley dropped 37 points in their 80-42 win over the Chinook Coyotes Saturday afternoon.

In addition to their offensive outburst, the Kwhahommies were stingy allowing the Coyotes buckets. Chinook was locked down by Hat High’s full court press and zone defense all game, able to only muster a basket or two in the final quarter.

Kwhahommies Head Coach Jeff Harrold says things are clicking for his squad at the moment.

“We’re doing a lot of good things,” he said following the win. “We’re playing with a lot more poise, we’re turning the ball over less. Things are really coming together.”
