Rassell nets hat trick in 7-2 win

CALGARY — Mark Rassell will likely never forget Friday night’s WHL game.

The Medicine Hat Tigers forward scored his first-ever hat trick, helping lift the Tigers to a 7-2 victory over the Calgary Hitmen at the Scotiabank Saddledome.

Jordan Henderson, Zach Fischer, Matt Bradley and Clayton Kirichenko scored the remaining goals for the Tigers through the game. Goaltender Nick Schneider made 19 saves on 21 shots.

Jaydan Gordon and Tristen Nielsen scored for the Hitmen, both in the first period.
