Back on the road after severe weather stoppage

CRANBROOK, B.C. — Extreme snowfall throughout southern Alberta and B.C has caused a hiccup in the Medicine Hat Tigers travel plans.

The team reportedly left Cranbrook, B.C. around noon on Tuesday, after spending two days in a hotel. Medicine Hat was on route back from Washington State when they ran into the severe weather that caused Highway 3 through the Crowsnest Pass to close.

In lieu of the travel stoppage, several Tigers took to social media to broadcast their time in B.C. including Mason Shaw and Mark Rassell.

The Tigers are expected to arrive back home sometime Tuesday evening. Their next game is Wednesday night, welcoming the Prince Albert Raiders to the Canalta Centre (7:00pm).
