QUEBEC CITY — Police in Quebec City are confirming only one of the two men arrested in a deadly attack on a Quebec City mosque is being considered as a suspect.

Alexandre Bissonette and Mohamed Belkhadir were arrested by Surete du Quebec on Sunday following a shooting rampage at the Centre Culturel Islamique de Quebec during evening prayers. Six people, all men, were killed in the shooting.

According to Quebec RCMP and Surete du Quebec, one of the two men arrested is being investigated as a witness, not a suspect. According to sources, Bissonette is being considered the primary suspect in the shooting.
