OTTAWA — Henry Burris is reportedly calling it a career.

According to sources, the veteran CFL quarterback will officially announce his retirement from football on Tuesday in Ottawa.

Burris, 41, is leaving the league as champion after leading the Ottawa Redblacks to a 39-33 overtime victory over the Calgary Stampeders in last year’s Grey Cup. He previously hoisted the Grey Cup in 1998 and 2008, both times with the Stampeders.

Burris finishes his career ranked third in the CFL in all-time passing yards (63,227) and touchdowns (374).
