Edmonton, AB — PC leadership candidates are in Edmonton this afternoon for the PC leadership race debate.

Stephan Khan, Jason Kenney, Byron Nelso and Richard Starke are speaking about their plans for the party.

Jason Kenney has been spending time travelling across the province promoting his “unite the right” campaign with the goal to merge the PC party with the Wildrose for the 2019 provincial election.

The remaining three candidates are hoping to rebuild the existing PC brand.

Calgary-Hays MLA Ric McIVer has been serving as interim leader for the party since the late Jim Prentice stepped down after he Premier Rachel Notley defeated him in the May 2015 provincial election.
