Medicine Hat man arrested on multiple fraud charges in Fort McMurray

Fort, McMurray, AB — A 32-year-old Medicine Hat man is facing more than 18 fraud charges across the province after being arrested in Fort McMurray last week.

Justin Michael Craig was arrested by Wood Buffalo RCMP on Dec. 23 after an investigation which started on Dec. 11, when he allegedly used fraudulent credit cards, among other offences. Police investigated a total of five investigations before Craig could be located and arrested.

In addition to the offences in Fort McMurrary, outstanding warrants from Medicine Hat, Redcliff and Calgary were executed.

Craig’s charges include identity fraud, credit card fraud, failing to comply with release conditions, and driving offences.
