MEDICINE HAT, AB — The Alberta Pound and Rescue Centre has moved locations for its presentation tonight (Feb. 13, 2019).

APARC will be holding a presentation for the community on the Trap-Neuter-Return Program in the Medicine Hat Police Service’s community boardroom (884 Second Street SE) starting at 7 p.m.

The meeting was originally going to take place at the Medicine Hat Public Library, but was moved to a larger location to accommodate more concerned citizens, according to a post on the organization’s Facebook page.

Trap-Neuter-Return sees feral and semi-feral cats get spayed or neutered and returned to their roaming grounds. The discussion will include representatives from other animal organizations, as well as those who have experience implementing the program in other communities.
