Medicine Hat Stampede Queen Brittney Chomistek named Miss Rodeo Canada 2018

EDMONTON, AB. – Miss Medicine Hat Stampede Queen 2017, Brittney Chomistek was crowned Miss Rodeo Canada 2018 at the 44th Canadian Finals Rodeo on Friday, November 10th at Northlands Coliseum.

Contestants were judged in a variety of areas including: horsemanship, public speaking, rodeo knowledge, personal interview, modelling and personality.

She is the second consecutive Miss Medicine Hat Stampede Queen to carry the national title, following Ali Mullin.

Chomistek will represent Canadian Rodeo for the next year at 400 events around the world.

The twenty year old is the fourth generation raised on family land northeast of Medicine Hat. She is currently in her third year of Elementary Education and aspires to teach grade one at a rural school.
