Ellen Marie Chadwick

April 4, 1933 – June 15, 2026

Ellen Marie Chadwick, beloved wife of the late Mr. Clarence Earl Chadwick, passed away in Medicine Hat on Monday, June 15, 2026, at the age of 93 years. Ellen was born in Piapot, SK; daughter to William and Edith Braniff. She married Clarence on October 30, 1951, and together they had one son, Earl William, born October 12, 1964. The family relocated to Vulcan, AB., in 1968 where Ellen worked for Canada Post until her retirement in 1995. Ellen and Clarence spent countless hours working in and enjoying their yard and garden. Following Clarence’s passing in May of 2000, Ellen relocated to Medicine Hat where she enjoyed spending time with friends and family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ellen is survived by her son, Earl (Jodie) Chadwick; two granddaughters: Shandeigh (Mark) Zieffle and Kenedeigh Chadwick; grandson, Leigh (Amanda); six great-grandchildren, Peyton, Kaylee, Carter, Brody, Lincoln and Novalie as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Along with her husband, Ellen was predeceased by three brothers, Charles, Jack and Harry as well as three sisters, Frances, Marion and Lillian. A family celebration of Ellen’s life will be held later this year.
