Medicine Hat Tigers drop Game 4, Prince Albert Raiders tie Conference Finals 2-2

The Medicine Hat Tigers fell 6-3 in Game 4 to the Prince Albert Raiders, who reclaimed home-ice advantage and tied the Eastern Conference Finals at two, turning the series into a best-of-three.

Draft-eligible defenseman Daxon Rudolph powered the Prince Albert offense, combining for a playoff career-high four points in the win, including a pair of power-play goals en route to being named the game’s first star.

Aiden Oiring, Evan Smith, Max Heise and Maddix McCagherty would round out the Raider scoring, with Oiring tallying the eventual game-winner.

The Tigers offense was led by Shaeffer Gordon-Carroll, who netted a pair of goals and was named the game’s third star, while Ethan Neutens added the lone other Tiger goal.

The Raiders chased Jordan Switzer from the Tiger net after he allowed four goals on 16 Raider shots.

Carter Casey would turn aside 18 of 20 shots faced the rest of the way.

Raiders netminder Michal Orsulak was named the game’s second star after boasting a 23-save performance.

Game 5 goes Friday night at 7:00 p.m. from inside the Art Hauser Centre in Prince Albert.
