Bow Island sets daily weather record for the second time in five days on Saturday
A weather record fell in the Town of Bow Island for the second time in five days on Saturday.
The spring storm that brought rain, snow, strong winds, and blowing snow to Alberta wound down over the weekend.
Strong winds began last Wednesday afternoon in southeastern Alberta and lasted until Friday evening.
Environment Canada says the strongest reported wind gusts were at Sunnynook, north of Brooks, with peak winds of 96 km/h.
