Medicine Hat Tigers give emphatic Game 2 response, defeat Raiders 5-0 to tie Conference Finals

Apr 25, 2026 | 10:33 PM

The Medicine Hat Tigers responded to their five-goal Game 1 defeat with a 5-0 Game 2 win to tie the Eastern Conference Finals at one with the Prince Albert Raiders.

Jordan Switzer recorded his first career playoff shutout, turning aside all 30 shots he faced in the Game 2 win.

Liam Ruck and Jonas Woo each added one goal and an assist in the win, while Markus Ruck and Niilopekka Muhonen rounded out the Tigers offense.

Raiders netminder Michal Orsulak was peppered and tuned aside 36 shots in the defeat.

Medicine Hat relied heavily on their special teams in the victory, going one for four on the power play and a perfect four for four on the penalty kill, just one night after they went one for four with a man in the box.

The Eastern Conference Finals now shifts to Medicine Hat for Games 3 and 4 on Tuesday and Wednesday night inside Co-op Place.

Puck drop for both games is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. MST, and you can catch the pre-game shows beginning live on WILD 94.5 FM at 6:30 p.m.
