Medicine Hat Tigers drop Game 1 of Conference Finals 8-3 to the Prince Albert Raiders

The Medicine Hat Tigers dropped Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals 8-3 to the Prince Albert Raiders on Friday night inside the Art Hauser Centre.

Prince Albert went three for four on the power play, striking on each of their final three attempts.

The Raiders saw a pair of goals from Aiden Oiring and singles from Brayden Dube, Justice Christensen, Ben Harvey, Max Heise, Alisher Sarkenov, and Evan Smith.

Michal Orsulak made 21 saves in the win for the Raiders.

Carter Casey made 31 saves in the loss for the Tigers.

Medicine Hat was held to just one goal in each period in the defeat.

The Tigers goals came from Bryce Pickford, Shaeffer Gordon-Carroll, and Markus Ruck in the defeat.

Medicine Hat did not get a power play chance in the game, the second time in their last three games that has happened.

Game 2 goes tomorrow night from inside the Art Hauser Centre in Prince Albert at 7:00 p.m MST on WILD 94.5 FM.
