Medicine Hat runner qualifies for Boston Marathon with help from dog-powered training
A Medicine Hat runner, Corry Leduc, will compete in the Boston Marathon, training for years alongside a pack of dogs that have become central to his preparation.
Leduc first set his sights on the race nearly three years ago but missed the qualifying cutoff and stepped away for about a year before returning to training, eventually improving his time to earn a spot in Boston.
In the lead-up to the marathon, Leduc developed an unconventional training routine through his business, K9 Sprinters.
