The Rattlers Academy Soccer Club (RASC) U13 Girls brought home a bronze medal from the Alberta Soccer Provincials over the weekend.

Playing in the Tier 3 Provincials in Lethbridge from Friday to Sunday, the RASC team won two games, lost one and tied one at the tournament.

They won Sunday’s bronze medal match 3-2 over the Selects FC (Lovatt) from the Edmonton Minor Soccer Association, a team they had tied 3-3 in their opening game on Friday.

A 2-0 round-robin win over Villains Blaze 13 from the Calgary Minor Soccer Association put the RASC team in the semi-final.

The semi-final game against the Spartans Amazons from the Calgary Minor Soccer Association was a 5-2 loss, which put RASC in the bronze medal game.

A full team roster can be found through the Alberta Soccer Provincials website.

The Medicine Hat Soccer Association (MHSA) stated on social media that this is an incredible accomplishment and a true reflection of the hard work, determination, and teamwork these athletes showed all season long.

The organization added they are proud of the way these players represented their club, district and the community on the provincial stage.

The MHSA closed by saying it is incredibly proud of all the RASC teams who competed at Provincials this year.
