Oyen RCMP looking for suspect in theft from Bindloss Community Centre

The Oyen RCMP are looking for those responsible for a break-in and theft at the Bindloss Community Centre, after responding to a call in the hamlet on Jan. 27, 2026.

Mounties said they believe that between Jan. 6 and Jan. 27, 2026, an unknown individual or individuals broke into the community center, causing thousands of dollars in damage to the building’s electrical systems.

They added that the suspects stole numerous items worth thousands of dollars, including alcohol, a meat grinder, a sound system, and animal mounts, which are family heirlooms.
