Medicine Hat Police continue search for Lentz, which included a warrant in Redcliff Tuesday

The Medicine Hat Police Service executed a search warrant at a commercial business in Redcliff on Jan. 13, 2026, as part of a continued search for Chad Lentz.

The warrant was executed in the 200 block of Third Street Northeast with the assistance of the RCMP and the MHPS Tactical Units.

The investigation continues for the 46-year-old Medicine Hat man, who is currently wanted on numerous outstanding Canada-wide warrants.

Police believe that Lentz may be actively attempting to avoid detection by altering his appearance, including wearing disguises.

Lentz is described as a white male, 5 feet 11 inches, about 185 pounds, with a shaved head, blue eyes, and several tattoos on his arms and body.

Anyone with information that may assist police in locating Lentz is asked to contact the Medicine Hat Police Service at 403-529-8481.

Information can also be provided anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
