VIDEO: Medicine Hat Police continue to investigate motor vehicle crash on Trans Canada Way

Medicine Hat Police Service said both drivers sustained serious, but non-life-threatening injuries during a motor vehicle crash in the city on Thursday.

Individuals involved were transported to hospital for treatment.

Police, Fire and EMS responded to a collision on the 1400 block of Trans Canada Way Southeast at about 10:19 a.m. Thursday morning.

Motorists were asked to avoid the area by police as a clean up and investigation was completed.

A white car and a red sports utility vehicle involved in the crash where being taken away from the scene Thursday afternoon.

The white car had went through a fence on the side of the road.

Police had update through a media release that traffic had been cleared by 3:15 p.m. Thursday afternoon.

Medicine Hat Police Service is now requesting assistance from anyone who witnessed the collision and has not yet spoken to investigators to contact the Traffic Unit at 403-529-8481.
