Medicine Hat’s Florkowski will make the cut at USGA Adaptive Open

Jul 8, 2025 | 12:17 PM

Medicine Hat’s Jesse Florkowski will make it to the final round at the United States Golf Association Adaptive Open.

The event has the top golfers of varying disabilities from across the globe competing.

The one-armed golfer sits at 2 over par after two rounds at the Woodmount Country Club (South Course) in Rockville, Md. just north of Washington, D.C.

He shot a 3 over par 75 on Tuesday, a day after shooting a 1 under par 71 on Monday.

The score today looks to bump him out of the top ten heading into the final day, but he is sitting safe with a projected cut of 7 over par by noon on Tuesday.

Florkowski has competed all four years the event has been hosted, having to qualify the past two years.

He will look to improve on his prior placements at the open, as he missed the cut for round three in 2024, and placed 11th in 2023, and ninth in 2022.
