Heat warning issued for Medicine Hat, southeast Alberta and west Saskatchewan
A heat warning was issued for large areas of southeast Alberta and western Saskatchewan on Monday afternoon, including Medicine Hat, Redcliff and Maple Creek.
Environment Canada is forecasting high temperatures over 30 C with overnight lows near 20 C are expected beginning Tuesday and continuing on Wednesday.
Cooler temperatures are forecast on Thursday.
Residents of under the weather alert are recommended to consider rescheduling outdoor activities to cooler hours of the day, take frequent breaks from the heat and spend time in cooled indoor spaces where possible.
