Medicine Hat heat warning expected to last another day
Medicine Hat remains under a heat warning on Thursday, with more moderate temperatures expected Friday.
The reported high is expected to be in the 32 to 34 C range according to Environment Canada.
People are asked to monitor for symptoms of heat stroke or heat exhaustion — such as high body temperature, lack of sweat, confusion, fainting and unconsciousness.
The weather alert advised people to consider rescheduling outdoor activities to cooler hours of the day, take frequent breaks from the heat and spend time in cooled indoor spaces.
