Dorothy Noga

The rain gently fell on Monday, June 2, 2025, and there were tears of joy as our mother, Dorothy Agatha Noga, was reunited with her daughter, Lori; her parents and her brother. Dorothy passed away at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital at the age of 89 years.
A life well lived, filled with family and friends.

Dorothy was born the eldest daughter of Maurice and Aggie DeVloo on December 27, 1935.
Dorothy’s greatest joys were her husband, kids and her ever growing family. She was very proud of the Red Rock Ladies Club which she started in 1960, and is still going strong. She enjoyed square dancing, dancing, crocheting, sewing, wheat weaving, curling 4-H, going to the casino, bus trips, cruises and travels to Belgium and Hawaii. Her favourite saying was, “Many hands make light work!”
Dorothy made Paul a farmer. There were some very tough years but love and perseverance got them through. They drove school bus for 37 years. Many cows were milked, cream separated, cheese and butter made.
Dorothy’s family was well fed… just look at them! Laundry hung on the clothesline in every season. She did everything she could for her family.
As the family grew, everyone was included. “Mom, you were our rock, an ear to listen, our go to for whatever we needed. We will cherish the love you have given each of us. Rest in peace! You have earned your wings. Until we meet again. We love you always and forever!”
