A vehicle collision closed one westbound lane on Highway 1 by the Esso Travel Centre Friday at approximately noon.
Medicine Hat police calls for service cite a motor vehicle collision that caused injury.
A semi-truck and SUV were involved in a collision that has since been cleared off the highway.
Police said the owner of the SUV remains in the hospital, in non-critical condition.
