Two men arrested after break in at Medicine Hat business

Two men have been arrested and charged after a break in at a Medicine Hat business in the flats area of the city early Tuesday morning.

The business located in the 700 block of 3rd Street Southeast sustained significant damage and property loss, and Medicine Hat Police Service Patrol Section were subsequently called to the scene.

Following an investigation, officers were able to identify a 42-year-old Medicine Hat man as a suspect in the break in.

The suspect was arrested and charged with possession of break, enter and theft and has scheduled to appear in court on Mar. 18.

In addition, a 31-year-old Medicine Hat man was arrested and charged with possession of stolen property, with a court appearance scheduled for Mar. 25.
