Over 1,300 vehicles inspected so far as part of Medicine Hat police check stop campaign

A total of 1,309 vehicles have been inspected as part of the Medicine Hat Police Service’s check stop program on Dec. 20 and 21.

Police issued six Immediate Roadside Sanctions were issued, including one for drug-impaired driving.

There were 11 Traffic Safety Act tickets and 17 TSA warnings.

Officers will continue to conduct several check stops through the holiday season, police say.
