It is with the heaviest of hearts that the family of Amber Margret Benoit announce her sudden passing on Friday, December 13, 2024, at the age of 39 years. Amber was born in Regina, Saskatchewan on December 18, 1984, alongside her twin sister, Jade. In her early years the family moved to Medicine Hat and Amber attended school in Irvine and then graduated from Eagle Butte High School in 2002. Very quickly, Amber found her passion working with those who have disabilities. Her caring nature and nurturing disposition had people drawn to her from all walks of life. Amber then met the love of her life, Henri; the two were married in 2013, and started their family first with Beau and then Jase. Amber was always meant to be a wife and mother, and her love for her family could be seen by anyone looking. Along with her husband, Henri and her sons, Beau and Jase, Amber is survived by her parents, Dean (Vicki) & Susan (Dwayne); in-laws, Roger and Beverly; twin sister, Jade; younger sister, Raylene (Darcy); brother, Ryan; grandmother, Elaine Springer; sister-in-law, Hollie (Jamie); brother-in-law, Andy (Kristen); nieces and nephews: Kiera, Ryder, Zack, Jasper, Trinity, Ariel, Jasmin and Indie as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Amber and her family also opened their home to two extra special people, Mark and Pam. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel, 901 – 13 Street S.W., Medicine Hat on Friday, December 20, 2024, between 5:00 pm and 6:00 p.m. A Celebration of Amber’s life will be held at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel on Monday, December 23, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Murray Jaster officiating. Amber’s service will be live-streamed.
