MP Glen Motz hosting King’s Coronation Medal ceremony tonight

A medal ceremony to recognize individuals who make a difference in their community is taking place at Medicine Hat College on Thursday evening.

The King Charles III Coronation Medal Ceremony, hosted by Medicine Hat-Cardston-Warner MP Glen Motz, will honour 12 people in the southeastern Alberta riding.

Eight individuals from the western part of Motz’s riding were awarded medals in September.

The coronation medals are being presented to a total of 30,000 people across Canada.

The ceremony gets underway at 7 p.m. in the college’s Eresman Theatre. Members of the public are encouraged to come watch.
