Harvest completion still ahead of five and 10-year averages: Alberta Agriculture

The Sept. 10 crop report from Alberta Agriculture says 36.8 per cent of the crop in the Peace had been harvested as of that date.

The five-year average for September 10 is 14.0 per cent and the 10-year average is 17.7 per cent.

More than 86 per cent of the dry peas, just under 57 per cent of the spring wheat, just under 51 per cent of the barley, 40 per cent of the oats and just under 10 per cent of the canola has been combined.

Across the province, harvest is just over 54 per cent finished.
