Wilfred Rehm
1931 ~ 2024
Mr. Wilfred Paul Rehm passed away in Medicine Hat on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at the age of 92 years. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Grace; two sons, Kelvin (Kim) and their two sons, Quintin and Clayton; Rob (Denise) and their family: daughters, Brianne (Blythe), Abby (Connor) and their son, Jayke. Wilfred was raised on a farm in Southern Saskatchewan with his parents, grandparents and his siblings, Annie, Helen, Johanna, and John. “Willy”, as most people referred to him as, was a very hard working man in the oil patch for nearly forty years of his life. He had a great sense of humour that most people appreciated along with a bit of a mischievous side. Wilfred was a kind, caring, soft spoken man who easily won over the hearts of friends and family he spent time with. Wilfred will be sadly missed by those he got close to. He was not a man that enjoyed the spotlight, but rather he made sure that people around him were in his spotlight. Willy did not need a lot of fuss made about him as he enjoyed being at home and having the slow routine of life and family fill his days. Dignified cremation has taken place. Wilfred will be silently remembered by family and friends without the proceedings of a formal funeral service.
