City of Medicine Hat to host, ‘Energy in Motion’: Celebration of Parks and Recreation month
The City of Medicine Hat is hosting a family friendly event at Towne Square and Riverside Veteran’s Park downtown on Saturday, June 8 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
In celebration of Parks and Recreation month, an event called Energy in Motion will feature food trucks, an obstacle course bouncy castle, face painting, local vendors, and live fitness demonstrations and activities.
Scott Richter, manager of business and innovation with the city, said the goal is to highlight local businesses and organizations dedicated to fitness, recreation, and the outdoors.
“We welcome the community and want them to see themselves in our parks and recreation facilities. We want people being active and connecting with one another and have a sense of belonging. We want people to find something they enjoy and to pursue it!”
