Monsignor McCoy Colts to honour three graduating baseball players

The McCoy Colts baseball program is honouring three seniors playing their final season with the team this year.

Makhi Carriere, Mace Carriere and Fischer Haysom are being recognized during Wednesday’s double header for their contributions to the Monsignor McCoy High School baseball team for its Seniors Red Night.

The first game at 3 p.m. versus Raymond High School will be followed at 5:45 p.m. by a brief ceremony to recognize the three graduating players. The second game versus Lethbridge Collegiate Institute will begin soon after.

The games and ceremony will take place at Jeffries Park.

Fans are encouraged to wear red and show their school spirit. Prizes will be awarded for the top two best dressed fans, high school officials said.
