Those driving on provincial highways on Saturday are asked to watch for and drive with caution around volunteers in orange safety vests.
Volunteers from Scouts, Girl Guides, schools, churches, Rotary clubs and other community organizations are participating in Alberta’s annual highway cleanup.
The volunteers will be picking up garbage between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., according to an Alberta news release.
Drivers are reminded to slow down, obey signs, watch for pedestrians, and use caution when passing cleanup crews.
