Trans-Canada Highway’s eastbound lanes reopen following crash

MEDICINE HAT, AB – The Trans-Canada Highway’s eastbound lanes have reopened after a closure due to injury in Medicine Hat’s south end, police say.

Police were on the scene of a motor vehicle crash on the highway at 6th Street Southwest.

All eastbound traffic was being diverted onto 1st Street Southwest until further notice, police said Thursday evening.

“Please avoid the area if possible until further notice,” the Medicine Hat Police Service said at the time.
