Alozie “Lloyd” Dubiel
June 5, 1956- July 20,2023
Alozie “Lloyd” Dubiel of Medicine Hat, Alberta, surrounded by his wife and children, passed away peacefully on Thursday July 20, 2023. Alozie “Lloyd” is survived by his wife, Nancy of 28 years; his children, Evan, Erin (Darren) Bertsch & grandchildren, Wrenn and Parks; Nathan (Alisha) Dubiel & grandchildren, Brynn and Wyatt; Matthew Dubiel and Kerrie Dubiel; as well as his mother, Stella Dubiel and his siblings, Janette Pickering, Dennis Dubiel (Gaylene), and Jeff (Tonya) Dubiel; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Alozie “Lloyd” Dubiel was born in Lestock, Saskatchewan on June 5, 1956. He grew up in Wishart, Sk where he obtained his schooling a few miles away from his family farm. After graduation he began a lifelong career in the oilfield working all over the world. He attained great success through numerous businesses which included a Drill Stem Testing business, an owner/operator of a Petro Canada as well as a lawn care business. He spent the last 30 years of his life as a drilling supervisor and consultant. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, quadding, camping and travelling with his best friend and wife, Nancy as well as spending as much time as he could with his kids and grandkids.

The family would also like to acknowledge heartfelt gratitude to the incredible staff of the Medicine Hat Hospital and Meadow Ridge Seniors Village.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Holy Family Parish on Monday, July 24th @ 11:00am. For those wishing to attend, a visitation will be held at Grace Memorial on Sunday, July 23rd 2:30pm – 4:00pm.
