RCMP looking for ‘W’ names for new foals
The RCMP needs the public’s help to name newborn foals which are part of the organization’s famous Musical Ride.
This year, for the 150th anniversary of the Musical Ride, all names will start with ‘W.’
Up to 12 winners will be selected across Canada. Winnings names will be given to foals which are expected to be born this spring at the RCMP breeding farm in Pakenham, ON.
“The RCMP’s 150th anniversary is an important milestone in the organization’s history and offers a chance to show how we’ve grown and evolved for Canadians,” says Sergeant Major Scott Williamson, Riding Master of the Musical Ride.
