Robert Transtrom

With heavy hearts and loving memories the family of Robert “Bob” Transtrom share that he peacefully rode into his final sunset with family by his side. Left to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Jackie Patzer, children Janice (Terry/Emma and Jacob), Micky (Hunter and Bryar); brother Bill (Betty), sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
Bob was welcomed in 1944, on the rolling hills of North Dakota by Mickey and Kathleen, siblings Lil and Larry and his twin brother Bill. A true cowboy–wild and free, a heart of gold, strong work ethic, a willingness to help anyone in need, uniquely generous and loving. He shared his time and talents (a skilled carpenter by trade), was a jokester, jack of all trades and expert storyteller sharing tales of a life well lived. He embraced life-hunting/guiding, fishing, fur trading, rodeos, cooking for loved ones, traveling, making new friends, antiques, vintage stove restoration, and dancing. Our one-of-a-kind beloved is now chasing snapping turtles, making his famous pickles or two stepping with all his loved ones who predeceased him. He’s home now. He’s perfect. Feel joy for him while grieving. We are sad, but he is in paradise. Your wings were ready, but our hearts were not. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the PATTISON CHAPEL on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. The viewing will be live streamed for those who wish to pay their respects virtually. A Celebration of Life will be held in North Dakota. Please visit pattisonfuneralhome.com and select live streaming, then select the youtube (arrow).
