Redcliff RCMP want to Stuff the Cruiser this holiday season

MEDICINE HAT, AB – Redcliff RCMP want to help ensure everyone has a chance to enjoy the holidays with family and friends.

The detachment is hosting their second annual Stuff the Cruiser event this Wednesday.

An RCMP cruiser will be parked outside the Family Foods store between Noon and 6 p.m. Donations of food and cash in support of the Root Cellar Food & Wellness Hub will be accepted.

Staff Sgt. Michael Courty says the detachment “wants to give back to the communities that we serve and with it being the holiday season, lots of people like to get together over a meal with family and friends so we want to try and make that a possibility for as many people as possible.”

Courty says some of the most needed items are sugar, pasta, canned meats, peanut butter, rice and hygiene products.

If you can’t make the Stuff The Cruiser Event at Redcliff Family Foods, donations can also be dropped off at the RCMP detachment between 8:30 am and 4 p.m. until Wednesday.
