Gary George Jackson passed away peacefully at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital on Thursday, December 1, 2022, at the age of 80 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Larissa; two children, Michael Jackson and Elizabeth (Jason) Melhoff; two grandchildren, Paige and Gabriel Melhoff; his twin brother, Guy (Ellen) Jackson; brother, Phil Jackson; sister, Linda Norris as well as numerous nieces and nephews he was fond of. Gary was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario and was well known for his love of laughter, his service to others and his love of family. He was an avid cyclist and runner and he participated in numerous races and marathons throughout his life. Gary was also a skilled knife maker, a hobby that he picked up in his senior years. He was much loved and will be deeply missed. Gary’s life will be celebrated by family and close friends at a future date.
