1945~ Irene Schneider ~ 2022

Irene Eva Schneider passed away on Wednesday, November 9 , 2022 at the age of 77 years, beloved wife of Adam Schneider of Medicine Hat. She also leaves to cherish her memory one child, Roxanne Schneider ; one brother, Thomas (Sharon) Folk; two sisters Audrey (Darrell) Koch and Florence (Ken) Sehn; brother-in-law Bernard (Irene) Schneider and Ann (Anthony) Unreiner; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents ; Jacob and Elizabeth Folk; father and mother-in-law Anton and Francisca Schneider; brother and sister-in-law Joe (Ann) Schneider and Mike (Violet) Schneider.

Born in Medicine Hat and raised on the Folk Farm south of Richmound, Irene attended school in Kellerville and would later graduate high school in Richmound. After high school, Irene came to Medicine Hat to attend Garbutt Business School. Before marrying Adam in November of 1967, Irene obtained employment at the Leader Town Hall. Adam and Irene farmed together in Golden Prairie before semi retiring to Medicine Hat in 2002. She enjoyed her flower and vegetable gardening, cooking, and providing many delicious meals for family gatherings.

The funeral mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Parish (1451 Strachan Road SE) on Tuesday, November 15th, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. with Fr. Iqbal Khurshid Celebrant.
