Violet Irene Heather
August 17, 1932 – November 4, 2022
Violet Heather passed away on November 4th, 2022, at the age of 90 years. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Joanne (George) Murphy, Roseann McNarland; grandchildren, Kira Albersworth (Chris Smith), Corey (Sarah) Topps, Ajay (Kimberly) McNarland, Kayla Heather (Cody Wood); great-grandchildren, Damian Albersworth, Aurora Albersworth; step great-grandchildren, Sophie Smith, Maria Smith, Madlayn Smith; sisters, Helen Bayer, Ruth Klaudt, Leah Klaudt, Martha VanOoyen; brother, John Buchholz; and numerous nieces and nephews. Violet was predeceased by her parents, John and Johanna Buchholz; husband, Reuben Heather; son-in-law, Joel McNarland; and brothers, Herbert Buchholz, Clarence Buchholz, and Alvin Buchholz.
Violet was born in Hilda, AB on August 17th, 1932, to John and Johanna Buchholz. She met and married Reuben Heather, and they were blessed with 2 daughters. Violet worked at Medalta Pottery and Montessori Daycare throughout the years. She enjoyed crafting, traveling, watching game shows, and playing tile rummy.
The funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 13th, 2022, at 1PM at the Seventh Day Adventist Church with Pastor Ryan Reeves officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so an hour before the funeral service.
