The Tigers take a 6-3 win in Everett on the first game of their road trip

MEDICINE HAT, AB – The Tigers are back to .500 on the season after coming out victorious against The Everett Silvertips.

The Tabbies wasted no time getting going in this one as Cayden Lindstrom secured his first WHL goal to put the tigers up 1-0 in the initial period. Just over a minute later the celebrations weren’t over for the Tigers as Shane Smith grabbed his first WHL goal as well.

Headed into the second period Medicine Hat was up 2-0, but didn’t settle with that for long as Alex Drover wanted in on the firsts parade grabbing his initial goal in the WHL to put the tigers up 3-0 early in the second.

Everett was not ready to go away yet though. They came back and scored 2 straight of their own with the first coming from Austin Roest, and the second off the stick of Jackson Berezowski which was his fourth goal of the young season.

In the final moments of the second period Andrew Basha scored his third goal of the season and 8th point to give The Tigers a 4-2 lead headed into the third period.

The final frame saw the Silvertips make it 4-3, that being the second goal of the night for the 2004 born Austin Roast. The goal would not faze the tabbies as they were able to add an insurance goal from the stick of Brenden Lee, As well later the empty net goal from Brayden Boehm to seal the deal 6-3 In Everett.

The Tigers are back in action again Saturday when they take on the Portland Winterhawks at 7:00 p.m.
