MEDICINE HAT, AB – It’s a big week for politics in Alberta, with the governing United Conservative Party choosing its new leader, and the province’s next premier, on Thursday.

Brooks-Medicine Hat MLA Michaela Frey announced last week she won’t run for re-election in the spring but doesn’t intend to coast for her final months in office.

Frey joined Gates Guarin on CHAT News at Noon to talk about what she thinks is the top issue facing the party and caucus, the issues her constituents bring up to her and looks back at her term.
