Grande Prairie’s Tenille Townes picks up five CCMA awards while co-hosting

While co-hosting the Canadian Country Music Association Awards on Sunday night in Calgary, Grande Prairie native Tenille Townes picked up five wins of her own.

Townes won for the second year in a row: Album of the Year for “Masquerades,” and for the fourth year in a row, Female Artist of the Year.

She also takes home CCMA’s for Songwriter of the Year, Single of the Year for “Girl Who Didn’t Care”, and Entertainer of the Year.

In 2021, Tenille won Album of the Year for “Lemonade Stand,” and Female Artist of the Year. She was nominated for: Songwriter of the Year, Fans’ Choice Award, and Country Music Program or Special of the Year.
