City still trying to get ticket refunds to buyers

Trampas Brown, the manager of guest experience and operations with the city, says the issue revolves around how you paid for the tickets.

“Basically anybody who paid via credit card, the refunds were processed directly by Ticketmaster directly back onto people’s cards,” he explains. “But where we run into some challenges is where people paid cash or debit at the box office because we aren’t able to automatically refund that.”

“We were able to get ahold of most of them but there’s still, there was a few kind of outliers there that we weren’t able to get ahold of due to, you know, incomplete patron information or you know their phone number has changed and that sort of stuff.”

Some people have followed up with the city and they’ve been connected to the people at Ticketmaster and refund cheques were issued.

But there are still some refunds waiting.

Brown says if that’s you, he advises people to connect with the city box office or ticket lines, have your ticket number or purchase information available, and they will connect you with Ticketmaster quickly.
