‘Reportable illness’ outbreak forces CAPE School to delay start of classes
MEDICINE HAT, AB – CAPE School is delaying the start of classes for one week due to an outbreak of a “reportable illness” among staff.
A message was sent to CAPE parents on Sunday evening that reads in part, “since late last week, our staff has had a drastic increase in reportable illness.”
“As of this afternoon, we reached a point where the spread of illness is of great concern and we could no longer adequately staff classrooms.”
