1928 – John Braumberger – 2022

John Braumberger passed away on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at the age of 94 years, beloved husband of Margaret Braumberger of Medicine Hat. He also leaves to cherish his memory two children, Darlene Schultz and Daryl (Joyce) Braumberger all of Medicine Hat; three grandchildren, Chad Schultz, Nicole (Joe) Richardson and Megan (Dale) Hasselberg; two great grandchildren, Alex Hasselberg and Logan Hasselberg as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Wilhelmina and Joseph Braumberger; son-in-law Rod Schultz in 2015; five brothers and two sisters: Eddie Willie, Phillip, Frank, Kay, Rose and Lawrence. John was born at Ft. Qu’Appelle on June 9, 1928. On August 2, 1951, he married Margaret Kuhn at Ft. Qu’Appelle and they then relocated to Medicine Hat where they have resided since. John was employed with the Brick and Tile and then began his 35 year career with CPR, retiring in 1989. In his spare time he enjoyed watching sports, especially hockey and baseball. A private family graveside service will take place at Hillside Cemetery.
