Project to upgrade irrigation at Hillside Cemetery restarting

MEDICINE HAT, AB – The City of Medicine Hat is continuing with irrigation upgrades to replace aging infrastructure Hillside Cemetery.

In a news release, the city says crews have now shifted focus to complete work on Phase 2B of the project, with Phase 3 expected to begin later this spring. The project began in 2020 and has been divided into several phases to best accommodate visitors.

Visitors to the cemetery are asked to be mindful of area signs and areas which may be cordoned off. Cemetery staff are available for assistance during office hours.

The City of Medicine Hat thanks the residents for their patience and understanding as these necessary improvements are completed. We apologize for any inconvenience.
